Hip and Eye Guarantee
At the time of signing this
guarantee, the general health of your puppy is excellent. This guarantee
covers any genetic problem which would prevent this dog to be certified
by the Orthopedic Foundation for Animals (OFA) or the Canine Eye
Registration Foundation (CERF). This guarantee is good for 26 months.
OFA will only certify dogs that
have reached 24 months of age. OFA will be the sole judge of any hip
defects.
CERF will certify dogs after 6
weeks of age and for this guarantee, the dog must before certified
before 1 year of age. CERF will be the sole judge of any eye defects.
The dog must not have been bred
and must be within the weight requirements set forth in the AKC
standards manual. Physical injuries to dog will also void this
guarantee.
When the following requirements
are met, this guarantee will be in effect:
1. A copy of the paperwork from
OFA or CERF indicating the problem must be sent to us for our review.
2. A letter from your vet, on
their letterhead, stating that the dog has been neutered or spayed.
3. A copy of the x-rays must be
sent to us for review by our vet.
4. The dog must be returned to
fowlmaster kennels along with all signed registration papers.
5. This guarantee only applies to
the original purchaser.
At the time the items above have
been met and we are satisfied a problem does exist, we will either
refund the full purchase price of the dog or replace it with a pup from
a similar breeding. The choice will be made by the original purchaser
only. If the price of a replacement puppy is greater, the purchaser will
pay the difference. All transportation expenses will be paid for by the
purchaser.
